  1. I attended an Ivy League University back in the late sixties , and there were many great teachers who came through , including Timothy Leary from Harvard , who spoke back then about LSD quite positively and many of us experimented with it and really benefitted both at the time and longer term . interesting to hear this message again a half century later , but I agree with you , Mike , thanks for sharing .

  2. Hi Mike,

Hope you are doing well and having a good day.

Thank you so much for posting this information.

You and I have talked at some Xymogen events in Colorado before and I was wondering if you could “recommend” a strain of mushroom. I have been looking to experiment as well, however, have been afraid to have too much of an undesirable effect. The website I have looked at is premiumspores.com
They show if something is “food” / edible vs hallucinogenic etc.

Any information or resource would be greatly appreciated.

    Kind regards,
    Jen

    • HI Jen!

Thanks for the note. I’ve ordered spores of the site you suggested (for research purposes only). Most the companies selling spores out there are for different strains of Psilocybe Cubensis and Psilocybe cyanescens–which have psychedelic effects.

You can also find these in nature, but would suggest getting Daniel Winkler’s field guide mentioned above so you don’t accidentally eat something poisonous.

      Hope that helps,

      Mike

  3. The story about you unknowingly tail-gating and honking at a subscriber is hilarious in a good down-to-earth way. None of us are perfect. Thanks for sharing.

    • LOL! Thanks Dave. It was quite funny hindsight, embarrassing at first.

You never know who you’re going to run into out there!

      Cheers,

      Mike
